About us
Extraordinary Designs was founded in January 2011 with the encouragement of family and friends to expand my alterations and custom sewing business. After several months of research, my husband and I launched the expansion to include a Nolting Pro-Series 24” Commercial Long Arm Quilting Machine. This equipment expanded our services to include machine quilting, T-Shirt Quilts, Memorial Quilts, and other custom quilts.
I got started in the art of sewing/quilting at a young age, was taught by my mother and grandmother, and have continued to sew ever since.
I am a wife, stay at home mom of five beautiful children, housekeeper, and business owner. I enjoy quilting, sewing, gardening, watching my children’s many events, camping, spending time with family and friends, and putting smiles on customers’ faces.
Extraordinary Designs gives me a flexible schedule while still being able to raise my children.
Extraordinary Designs was named for the unique individual characteristics each quilt has to offer. No two quilts are exactly the same. Offering machine quilting services to our customers helps them finalize their beautiful tops into completed, cherished quilts.
